About the story
Billionaire CEO’s Obsession is a GoodShort romance about Naomi, a woman swapped at birth whose reunion with an heir becomes entangled in a family feud.
Before the romance comes a theft: Naomi was born into a life she never got to keep. Billionaire CEO’s Obsession is more interesting when you start there, rather than with the man in its title.
What is the story about?
GoodShort’s official premise introduces Naomi as a woman born into wealth but raised in poverty after a deliberate swap at birth. She grows up independent despite mistreatment, and saves an heir who is being pursued. They meet again six years later and fall in love, only for the truth about her origins and a family feud to divide them.
That is the premise, not an ending recap. This introduction does not claim to have watched the full series.
The identity mystery is the real reason to look closer
The title puts the CEO first; the setup gives Naomi the more interesting question. Is the life she has known really hers, and what changes when the people around her discover where she came from?
Read the premise as two connected promises: a second-chance romance and a fight over belonging. If you enjoy hidden-identity stories for the moment when status stops matching appearances, that combination may be your way in. It is an editorial reading of the setup, not a verdict on later episodes.
Is this the kind of romance you want?
Start with your mood rather than the word “billionaire.” Are you looking for a reunion complicated by family secrets, or would you rather have a lighter romance without an identity puzzle? That distinction is more useful than an unverified star rating.
If a surprise matters to you, avoid ending-explained pages before you start. Our hidden-identity story guide offers another way to choose by the kind of reveal you prefer. For a broader comparison, explore our billionaire short-drama guide.
