What the premise offers
Miles begins with retaliation after his girlfriend's infidelity. An accidental kiss with Hunter complicates the plan, creating a gap between a staged affair and an encounter that may have consequences beyond the performance.
This premise is a starting point for readers interested in a retaliatory scheme that becomes less controllable. The medical-student and CEO roles add a difference in circumstances. The available synopsis does not settle how either character defines the relationship, and this introduction makes no claim about the ending.
